I noticed this in a gif someone made from Adventure Time. The cup has runes on it, which (sort-of) say in modern English “Cup of many ale.” They’ve made an error in “cup,” however, and that last rune is either a thorn or a wynn (I can’t really tell), so technically what it says is either “cuth of many ale” or “cuw of many ale” — but I’m just happy to see it there at all! Historians think they might have found the signature of John Lydgate in some graffiti he carved into a church pillar. In the off-chance you become famous, be sure to carve your signature in as many places as possible.
Sutton Hoo was the granddaddy of all medieval archeological finds, an Anglo-Saxon burial site excavated in 1939 that really captured the imagination like no other find until the Staffordshire Hoard was discovered in 2009.

Geekerati has their 150th podcast with Knights of the Dinner Table. Congrats on Geekerati’s longevity, Christian and Shawna!
One note: Because of technical difficulties, the first 20 minutes or so are Shawna filling time until they get KotDT on air. I think those 20 minutes, and her discussion of genre television are worth a listen, but if what you really want to hear is the guests, skip ahead a bit. This just shows what the experience of 150 podcasts can do — Shawna just dives right in without any trouble.
